Procurement with Purpose
My first online course, Procurement with Purpose is live! It's my first work collaboration with my wife, Carolyn Arthur, an ethical procurement expert.
Chances are high that you are not a procurement professional. Would you do me a favour and forward this to your procurement team at work?
This course will help you prepare and submit your organization's response to Canada's Modern Slavery Act (Bill S-211) while helping you connect with your values and purpose to activate procurement as a tool for equity, accountability and shared liberation.
Learners also get:
- Several templates to save you time (Sample project plan outline, RACI for your project team, gap analysis template, working document for your questionnaire)
- Leadership exercises to get clear on your values and career purpose
- Monthly office hours with Carolyn and me
Pop up coaching
"Honestly, I thought coaching was BS, but wow, did 25 minutes just change my life." This is what one of the coachees said at the pop up coaching at Women In Tech Regatta last week.
All the women I coached had never been coached before. Everyone left with new insights and action steps to move them forward, in a direction they wanted to go.
My favourite piece of self assigned homework was a woman who is going to be present and play with her kid for an hour. She has a job that has great work-life balance so she can prioritize what’s most important to her–her family, but lately hasn’t taken the time to be present with her kid.
Other women left committed to taking steps to move their careers forward in a way that honoured their values, not what other people said they should be focused on.
It was so much fun to coach in person. We were close to this outdoor patio area and I kept inviting coaches outside. If you’re organizing a conference in Vancouver and think that pop up coaching would be a useful addition, reach out.
Ways to work with me
- 1:1 coaching — 3 or 6 month packages. Book a free chemistry call to see if we're a fit.
- Team offsites — I design and facilitate in-person experiences for teams. I'm actively looking for more of this work. Reply with the basics (who, what, when) and let's talk.
- Speaking — keynotes, panels, fireside chats. I'm a strong interviewer if you need someone to draw out a great conversation. Here's my current keynote on leadership and values.
- Inclusion consulting — strategy, thought partnership, and culture work for organizations building high-performance inclusive workplaces. Reach out here.
